Today Cameron competed in EVOS Track Competition. He won a silver medal in the softball throw and 4th place in the standing long jump. It took some major encourging for him to participate today, he didn't want to throw the softball, and just stood there forever. We finally got him to throw after bribing him with what else "Spongebob". He absolutely loves Spongbob and if he's good we let him pick out a Spongebob movie at Blockbuster. After his first throw he rocked it out with two more strong throws! Next came standing long jump, once again he refused to jump...so this time we told him that he'd go camping after he jumped. It worked like a charm...and it wasn't a lie, later today David and the boys are going to scout camp, and Cameron favorite outdoor activity is camping. The highlight came when they announced him name and he got to stand on the podium. He got very shy standing in front of everyone, but then was super excited! He was suppose to compete in the 50m run, but he needed to get home and get ready for scout camp! Special Olympics State Competion is in two weeks at MCC, he'll compete in the 50M and shot put...let me know if you wanna come. It's April 30th-May 2nd.

We had Burger King for lunch and Cameron thought he was the king...especially after he placed 4th in long jump. He wouldn't take the crown off...it was very funny!
